1:4 Double Extraction – what that actually means

Our Shiitake is produced using a 1:4 mushroom-to-liquid ratio, meaning one part whole Shiitake mushroom is extracted into four parts organic solvent to create a high-strength, full-spectrum tincture.

We use a dual extraction process:

• Organic ethanol extraction to capture alcohol-soluble compounds
• Hot water extraction to release beta-glucans and beneficial polysaccharides

By combining both methods, we retain the complete spectrum of Shiitake's naturally occurring compounds rather than focusing on a single extract fraction.

Each 1ml serving provides the equivalent of 250mg of dried Shiitake fruiting body, with half a pipette providing 125mg.
