That’s why we’re incredibly proud to announce the launch of our brand-new Mushroom Tincture Range, made using UK-grown, organic-certified mushrooms sourced directly from The Fungi Folks, a small farm nestled in the hills of South Wales.
This partnership is more than just about mushrooms — it’s about transparency, sustainability, and setting a new benchmark for supplement quality in the UK.

In an industry often dominated by vague labels and distant supply chains, we wanted to bring things closer to home. By sourcing locally from The Fungi Folks, we support a more ethical, traceable food system — one that:

Our tincture range features a carefully selected variety of high-quality functional mushrooms:

All mushrooms are grown organically and harvested by hand, with a deep respect for nature and science alike. Where needed, surplus mushrooms are sourced from a trusted organic farm in Devon — but our long-term aim is 100% self-grown mushrooms from the Welsh farm.
🔬 Our Extraction Process: From Petri Dish to Bottle
This isn’t your average tincture. We go far beyond industry norms to preserve the full spectrum of bioactive compounds — and we do it all right here in the UK through using The Fungi Folks.
Here’s how we do it:
1. Strain Selection & Cultivation
- Grown from mycelial cultures on organic substrates.
- UK-native strains used where possible.
2. Incubation & Expansion
- Mycelium is expanded through liquid media and organic grains in warm, dark incubation rooms.
3. Fruiting
- Transferred to sawdust (from a local mill) with organic wheat bran, creating the perfect food for mushroom growth.
4. Harvest & Drying
- Mushrooms are hand-harvested and dried at a gentle 40°C to preserve delicate compounds.
5. Double Extraction
- Alcohol Extraction: Pulls out triterpenoids, sterols, and volatile oils using organic ethanol.
- Hot Water Extraction: Simmered for hours to release polysaccharides like beta-glucans.
6. Concentration & Mixing
- Both extracts are carefully concentrated and blended - we take care not to filter out the jelly-like beta glucan gels that some companies mistakenly discard - homogenising them into solution, and maintaining their potent health benefits
7. Bottling
- The finished extract is bottled by hand and shipped directly to you — no shortcuts, no compromises.
